H2I is pleased to announce that our entry — ‘Rainfall Intensity Estimation using OAK-D cameras’ is one of the winners of OpenCV Spatial AI competition sponsored by Intel. OAK-D is a special camera that combines the power of neural inference and information about distance and depth in real time. H2i’s proposal to develop an embedded computer vision system that performs a real-time instantaneous rainfall estimation, while outperforming traditional gauges in terms if cost and ease of deployment factors.
As one of the winners H2i received OAK-D camera and access to IntelDev Cloud on Edge to deploy and demonstrate its technology. Following the deployment and demonstration, the top three winning teams will receive a price.
