The Public Utilities Board (PUB) of Singapore has appointed Hydroinformatics Institute to implement automated nutrient loading calculation and integration into operational management system. Catchment nutrient loading analysis is a crucial step in devising effective and targeted source control plans for tackling pollution sources. Loading analysis involves data extraction, data cleaning and compilation, computation, analysis and presentation of results. Currently this entire process is done manually and takes much longer time than preferred. Through automation, productivity of the task will be enhanced. H2i will implement real-time monitoring and computation to enable PUB to make faster and smarter operational decision making.
